Directed by John La Barbera, award winning composer, multi instrumentalist, studio musician for TV and Film, author

and educator, the workshop provides an excellent opportunity for musicians to experience ensemble playing

while understanding stylistic approaches and nuances of the music. It also includes his original music and arrangements.

The experience is designed to keep you focused on your playing your part while having the opportunity to play together. It will also enrich your repertoire of new and familiar styles.

All players are welcomed. The only requirement is that you can read music on your instrument. The workshop will be divided up into Beginners (for playing accompaniment, harmony parts), Intermediate and Advanced, (for playing the main melodies and for soloists).

Performance of the music from the Workshop will be on the final evening.
